LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Safety is not a concern
Editor:
I have kept myself interested in the messy situation at the
Tooele nerve gas incinerator.
How can the Army be so blatantly wrong and cruel to the Yarbrough
family?
The recent disclosure by the Army was obviously reluctant and
delayed until it was obvious they had tried to cover it up internally
by the contractor, then again internally by the Army, but never
were criminal investigators involved who would have found many
participants.
The Army has Mr. David Yarbrough in prison where they want
him, so they bully the nerve agent through the Tooele incinerator
at a high rate without him around to clearly explain the unsafe
procedures and equipment used on the incineration stack that is
dumping contaminants on Tooele County.
Safety is not a concern, rather bonuses for meeting the schedule.
Where then is the ultimate concern?
