Case ridiculous

Editor:

The case against David Yarbrough is ridiculous. If the Army did one of many actions reported in your newspaper, they should be ashamed. If Mr. Yarbrough did what the Army said, no one was in danger at any time. As in Iraq, it is time for the Army to stop inflicting damage and begin repairing their damage.

The Olympic leaders in Utah defended two employees for the world to see.

The general over the Tooele facility is in a situation similar to a story I know. A bank manager accused an employee of stealing money. Several bank managers testified against him. He was found guilty and sent to prison. Years later his accuser found the money misplaced inside the bank. In a terribly embarrassing or possibly a financially rewarding situation, she had to decide what to do, admit to the judge and to the other bank employees she was wrong or keep the money.

In case the general chooses to stay behind his “stone cold fence,” I have a suggestion – sentence Mr. Yarbrough to perform one year of service for each of the seven counts. At the Tooele facility, assign him to respond to terrorist intruders and make them vanish as was done with their last terrorist. Rent him out to Tom Ridge at Homeland Defense for use against terrorists in big cities.

And during the time he is not on a terrorist mission, assign him to teach the “usual 5-6 witnesses” and managers the LQAP regulation and how to locate the agent monitoring equipment.
Service will save the Army money, make the Army a profit from rent, enhance the safety provided to the citizens of Tooele County and soon my grandchildren. This is a win-win situation for everybody.
