Manager named for disposal site






The U.S. Army Chemical Materials Agency has announced the appointment of a new site

project manager for the Tooele Chemical Agent Disposal Facility at the Deseret Chemical

Depot in Tooele County.
Thaddeus "Ted" A. Ryba Jr. replaces Dale Ormond, who was reassigned to

Washington, D.C., after being named deputy-assistant secretary of the Army's program to eliminate chemical

weapons.
  Ryba's government career began in 1984 as an engineering intern at the school of Engineering and

Logistics in Texarkana, Texas. He has been assigned to Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.; the U.S. Army
 

Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands; U.S. Army Chemical Activity, Pacific, and Johnston Atoll, and in July to the

disposal plant in Stockton. He is a native of Philadelphia, now lives
  in Stansbury Park and is married to the

former Tamara Zentner of Provo. They are the parents of two children.
