Low levels of mustard agent are still being detected in an igloo at the Pueblo Chemical Depot, according to a spokeswoman for the base.
Crews had put a charcoal filter on the igloo's vent earlier this month and did the same on Tuesday.
The igloo contains mustard-filled chemical agent rounds that had been found to be leaking and were placed in metal containers.
Attempts to isolate the source of the recent leak were inconclusive, the source said, and additional monitoring of the igloo yielded no mustard agent vapor.
The storage structure doors were not opened Tuesday but air monitoring of the storage structure will continue. There was no release of agent to the atmosphere and never a danger to the depot work force or to any depot neighbors.
