Depot Burning Could Start This Week

The Army says it may delay start-up of incineration at the Umatilla Chemical Weapons Depot until next week. The Army hoped to start burning the stockpile last Wednesday, but the Army delayed the start because of problems with an internal filtering system.

The Army says it should know by tomorrow if it will start burning later this week.
