White Hall - Officials at the Pine Bluff Arsenal are looking into what caused the fire that destroyed a warehouse building last week.

Arsenal officials want to reiterate that no one was injured in the fire and the public was never in any danger. Now the focus has turned to what caused the fire and how it can be prevented in the future.

A warehouse fire broke out at the Pine Bluff Arsenal on Monday, June 6, causing a white plume of smoke to burn itself out throughout the day.

Although an investigation will not be complete for another couple of weeks, investigators are now focusing on 20 inch tall steel canisters. The warehouse building where the fire happened housed more than 7,500 of them.
