Washington Group International has been named one of America's 17 safest
companies by Occupational Hazards, the leading magazine of safety, health
and loss prevention.
In the last 12 months, approximately 30 company projects have achieved a
safety record of one million or more hours without a lost-workday injury.
Those projects include the company's work in Iraq, mining operations in Germany
and chemical weapons disposal efforts.
