RICHMOND:  ARMY DEPOT'S SARIN TO BE ANALYZED

About 13 tablespoons of a mixture containing the nerve agent sarin were taken from the Blue Grass Army Depot in Richmond to a laboratory at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland yesterday, according to the Blue Grass Army Depot.

The agent, also called GB, will be tested by the Army there to determine the best way to destroy it, if it needs to be destroyed. The tanks containing the mixture at Blue Grass are having their plugs replaced this month and the sample was sent for testing as a safety precaution.
