CHEMICAL DESTRUCTION ADVISORY BOARD

The Chemical Destruction Community Advisory Board will meet from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday at Eastern Kentucky University's Carl D. Perkins Building on Kit Carson Drive. The board will discuss chemical agent monitoring, emergency response, waste treatment and environmental permitting issues related to the chemical weapons destruction effort. In addition, it will receive updates from the Blue Grass Army Depot, Blue Grass Chemical Activity, the program manager for Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives, Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass and the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection.
