SUBCONTRACTORS SOUGHT

Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass, the systems contractor selected to design, build and operate a plant to destroy the chemical weapons stockpile stored at the Blue Grass Army Depot, will hold a training session for potential subcontractors Sept. 29 at the Best Western Holiday Plaza in Richmond.

The session will include an overview of the procurement process as well as sample subcontractor proposals. Subcontractors must be registered with Bechtel to participate; register at http://supplier.bechtel.com. Session times are 8:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Space is limited to 50 participants per session, so sign up before Sept. 23 by contacting, Devon Farnstrom at (859) 624-6201. Two representatives per company will be permitted to attend.
