WEAPONS DESTRUCTION
The Chemical Destruction Community Advisory Board will hold its next quarterly meeting from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Eastern Kentucky University's Carl D. Perkins Building on Kit Carson Drive.
The board, co-chaired by Madison County Judge-Executive Kent Clark and Craig Williams, executive director of the Chemical Weapons Working Group, will discuss the latest developments on design options that might make building and operating the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant more affordable. board members also will receive updates from the program manager for Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives and the pilot plant's site project manager.
