VENEZUELA TO ENFORCE CONVENTION ON CHEMICAL WEAPONS

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is to organize a presidential committee for the enforcement of the Convention on the prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction (CWC) and to coordinate efforts with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW.)

The committee will be installed on Friday.

Venezuela meets its commitments with the international community and aims at building a better, safer and more peaceful world, said the Foreign Affairs Ministry, official news agency ABN reported.
