Irrigon to focus on safety
More than 20 students from Columbia Middle School and volunteers
from Morrow County Service Area of the Red Cross volunteered to
assemble, test and stack the units for the Irrigon Safety Awareness

IRRIGON - Irrigon Safety Awareness Days will be held from 8 a.m.
to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Stokes Landing Community Center,
195 Northwest Opal Place.
Representatives of the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program will be on hand to give general emergency preparedness and instructions on how to use recirculating air filters.
Irrigon residents may stop by to pick up recirculating air filters during the event. Residents will be required to show proof of residency, which includes an Oregon driver's license or ID card and a current electric, water, garbage or telephone bill. All documents must show name and physical address and must correspond to the resident's Oregon driver license or ID card.
