[Steve] Connelly is also concerned about the chemical weapons stockpile at the Bluegrass Army Depot.

"Evidence is mounting that neutralization would be safer, quicker and a way to avoid a potential stigma of Berea, the Arts and Crafts Capital of Kentucky," he said.

Connelly said from a public relations standpoint, it would be better for people to see Berea as a site where high-tech, state-of-the-art neutralization is taking place, as opposed to being known as the site that is burning nerve gas.
