| I was disturbed to read about the numerous violations that are occurring at the site relating to trial burn requirements. If Westinghouse isn’t paying attention to detail in this phase of destruction of the weapons, what possibly could be happening during actual operation? I commend the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) for their determined efforts to maintain control of the facility and strongly suggest to the people of Westinghouse to pay closer attention to detail in every aspect of their operation. I agree with incineration as the best way to rid our area of these chemical weapons, but please don’t violate the trust this area has in you to dispose of them. Beth Badgett |
